NS 5120 is on the Charleston to Hamburg line at Elko, SC. This section of rail line is now abandoned from Branchville to a point east of Aiken, SC. As evidenced by the consist of this train, rail traffic was light on this line at this time. It was pretty much classic branch line railroading.
